Pickleball Kingdom, renowned as the world's largest indoor pickleball entity, is set to unveil a cutting-edge facility in Bryan, Texas, located at 3125 S Texas Ave.
Spanning an impressive 49,150 square feet, this complex will house 17 professional-grade indoor courts, with an anticipated opening in Fall 2025.
This expansion marks a significant addition to the company's growing presence in Texas, complementing existing locations in Plano, Dallas, and Pflugerville, as well as the upcoming Fort Worth facility.
"Texas has long been a hotspot for pickleball," remarked Ace Rodrigues, Founder and CEO of Pickleball Kingdom.
"College Station is the perfect place for us to expand to, especially with Texas A&M bringing incredible energy and a strong sense of community to the area!"
The new facility is poised to offer a comprehensive range of amenities:
Indoor, Climate-Controlled Courts: Ensuring year-round play regardless of weather conditions.
Lessons & Clinics: Catering to all skill levels under the guidance of experienced coaches.
Court Reservations & Open Play: Options for both scheduled sessions and spontaneous games.
Leagues & Tournaments: Organized competitive play for enthusiasts.
Pro Shop: Stocked with top-brand paddles, apparel, and accessories.
Youth Programs: Designed to inspire and engage the next generation of players.
Community & Corporate Events: Fostering local connections through engaging events.
Sheryl Miller, a Texas A&M graduate and long-time College Station resident, will lead this venture.
With a robust background in business and technology, including leadership roles in IT consulting and nonprofit sectors, Miller combines her professional expertise with a passion for racquet sports.
"I'm ready for the opportunity to serve my community," Miller expressed.
"It's an honor to grow a business that brings all generations together to play the most fun sport in the world in a comfortable, indoor setting. Pickleball Kingdom College Station will be where people come for fitness, competition, and fun events."
Beyond the courts, Miller is committed to forging local partnerships and supporting organizations that assist the underprivileged.
"We're providing opportunities for people to play and connect while supporting the local economy and building a team that feels like family," she added.
Assisting in the facility's operations is Donald "Donnie" French, a lifelong Bryan-College Station resident and U.S. Army veteran.
French's strong community ties and leadership experience position him to create a welcoming environment for players of all ages and skill levels.
Rob Streett, President and Chief Global Officer of Pickleball Kingdom, highlighted the significance of this expansion.
"This marks another important step in bringing our vision to more communities," Streett stated.
"Sheryl's passion for people, her deep roots in the area, and her commitment to excellence make her the perfect franchise partner. We're confident she'll create an incredible experience for everyone who walks through the doors."
As pickleball continues to surge in popularity across the United States, the introduction of this premier facility in Bryan-College Station is poised to become a central hub for enthusiasts, fostering both community engagement and the growth of the sport in the region. |
